I’m all about looking for the good because when you do, that is exactly what you see. Blindness has taught me that no matter how dark life seems, there is still goodness and grace all around. That is why I love Bobby Lewis’ book!  He helps us see beyond the bad news and focus our hearts on hope. I really think he may have the cure for the common headlines right here on these pages! After reading just one chapter, I was reminded that God is good. He is here. There is hope and joy is possible.

The stories are gripping, each one has a way of challenging you in your own journey to look at yourself and ask questions. Bobby has a way of getting to your heart in this book and I have been moved by the ability to find joy in ways I didn’t know I could.

I enjoyed reading the chapter on Eric Piburn and the day he got our big surprise! It was so touching to hear you describe what everyone was doing and how they were feeling on that day on the other side of the camera, that it brought tears to my eyes. I remember being excited to be talking to Eric via satellite, knowing that it would be a bright spot in his life, with all that he has been though. It was a special moment for all involved, and now it’s even more so. Thank you for sharing your story through his eyes. I loved the whole experience!
